I got a king size for my queen bed and it hangs perfectly about two feet over each side of the bed making it look like a bedspread. For me this is a summer weight quilt and will need a thermal quilted blanket underneath for colder times. The Boho pattern is printed on but you have to look close to tell and has a very striking appearance in the room. My really fluffy pillows had to be stuffed into the shams but normal sized pillows fit fine. I haven't washed it yet but don't expect problems as the quality is excellent.
