I have been wanting this quilt for years & when I saw that it was available for a considerable discount through a “Warehouse” deal, I grabbed it. Now, I know quilts. I have been lucky to have been born into a family that had women who prided themselves on making them & also have experience w/ buying some from the Amish & while this quilt isn’t to be held up to those standards, it is actually well made. I like the reverse, a green calico print, & was able to fluff it up by putting it in the washer on the “hand wash” option w/ a honkin’ amount of fabric softener & fluff drying it. I’m warning future buyers of ANY quilt that if you dare wash it on a regular cycle & dry it w/ high heat; bad things will happen! The cotton fabric is not thick & isn’t made to withstand the pummeling of a typical machine washing cycle. However, knowing these things & the difference in quality of handmade (which will cost you between $300-$1000 for a full/queen size) vs. mass produced, this quilt is cute & worth adding to your bedding if you enjoy the pattern & understand how to care for it.I ordered the Full/Queen size for my Queen bed. It was way too small and didn't come close to covering my mattress. Granted, I have a new 14" thick mattress, but I don't think it would have adequately covered a thinner Queen mattress either. Might work for a Full, if it's not a newer, thicker mattress. It was noticeably smaller than my old quilt which was also a Full/Queen and had the same advertised measurements. Fortunately Amazon was great about returning it for a refund. Also, according to the manufacturer care recommendations, machine wash on the gentle cycle and air dry - so this is NOT recommended to go in a machine drier. The quilt was very cute, seemed to be good quality, and Amazon was great about returning which is why I'm still giving it 3 stars. I really wish it would have fit and also been able to go in a machine drier. If you don't mind air drying after you wash it, make sure you size up and order a King if you have a Queen size bed.I have been looking for this Quilt for more than 5 months. Some sites wanted well over $100 for it. When I realized I couldn't find it I went back to some of these sites and they no longer had it. It is beautiful. It brightens my bedroom. I have 2 wonderful orange tabbies so that is why I love things that have to do with Cats. This quilt is made well and well worth it. Im so glad I finally found it on Amazon's website. My son and daughter-in-law gave me a gift certificate for Amazon for my birthday in May. I can now tell him he helped me get the birthday gift I have wanted for many months. PS. I already purchased the twin size for my spare room bed.I bought this to replace one I already had that was too small for my queen-size bed. I decided to try a "king," and it is perfect for a "queen bed." It's a little pricey (I paid a LOT less for the queen-sized one from another seller -- of course, it didn't come with shams as this one did); but it's going to last a LONG, LONG time. As large as it is, I put it in my washer and dryer and it laundered beautifully.I love this quilt. I have not been happy with the sizing of quilts for my king bed in the past, they always seemed skimpy or came up a little short on the sides. This quilt fits by bed beautifully, is well made and the colors are true to the picture. Each cat is a different pattern. Please bear in mind this is not a true "quilt" where each cat is sewn onto the background but rather a quilted patterned fabric. Regardless, it is really pretty, has a good weight to it and I can tell it will hold up to dozens of washings. I am very happy with my purchase!Beautiful and fun quilt.. My only complaint is that there is color variations in the background fabric. The background is cream and the variations were yellow-ish and looked like aging. I like to change the look of our bedroom up often and this made for a fun change.I love the design on the comforter because I am a cat person, but unfortunately the comforter is very poorly made. On the top middle, the stitching is unraveling. There were also several stains on the fabric in different places looks kind of like ink? Also, The beige fabric on top is different colored dye lots, looks kind of tea-stained. I prefer not to return it because I have been looking for this quilt for a long time but I am very disappointed in the quality and the value because I think it is pretty expensive for being so badly made! Also I ordered the Queen size and with it I received 2 bigger than king shams. I bought a king size pillow to put in and even that's not big enough to fill up the sham - strange size ...if I used both shams it would fall off the bed so I will only use one, again a disappointment especially for the price!The quilt is very pretty. I washed it before use and I couldn't believe the Grey water that came from it. I was really glad I washed it first before using it. It was washed on delicate and on cool and dried on cool. Yet it did look a bit puckered when it came out. But I do like the basic look. Just concerned about its care.
