This spread is not quilted in the usual fashion with needle and thread. I read something about it when I was making the purchase and was well aware. The quilting lines form little diamond shapes and the lines seemed to be fused in some manor. The design seems very secure and it looks very much like traditional quilting.I ordered a king for my queen bed and it fits very well as a full bedspread , which is what I wanted.The color is the same as I saw on my monitor and I love the soft pale color. I purchased sone pink sheers for my bedroom and they worked perfect togetherThe price for this light weight gorgeous quilted spread was unbelievably low and the quality is fantastically high. I would purchase againguess bedroom!I’ve now had this on my bed for a week. It’s great to sleep under in hot hot weather! Perfect for summer. Color is nice. Wasn’t thrilled with the diamond design but it grows on you quickly. I use a lace battenburg skirt with it. Shams fit oversized jumbo pillows.Perfect colorI bought this same coverlet for my spare bedroom in a light blue. Now I have purchased it for my master bedroom in the Earthy color. I actually like the color better now that I have it as it appears to be on the order of a rust with cinnamon tones. Much prettier than what it is in the picture. I wanted something for fall and I really love the color. For the price, i very nice coverlet. I did not want a heavy duty comforter. I just have a nice blanket underneath which is what we use to cover ourselves at night. I fold the coverlet back. But, if I needed extra warmth, I would just pull it over the top of the blanket vs folding it back to the edge of the bed. This is an honest review. I am not getting paid for this review.Used to protect my couch from dogs. It has held up great. There is no pilling.The material is soft and comfortable against skin.
